Commercial art is like a loveless marriage, only for convenience.
Robert Rauschenberg
The current exhibition at the Royal Palace of Milan, curated by Daniele Fenaroli and produced by Arthemisia, represents a unique experience for contemporary art enthusiasts. The section dedicated to the Giuseppe Iannaccone Collection brings together works by internationally renowned artists, including Cindy Sherman, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Nan Goldin, Nicole Eisenman, Kiki Smith, and Francesco Vezzoli, to name just a few.
The common thread of the exhibition is the dialogue on the relationship with the body, evolving identity, multiculturalism, and complex interactions between East and West. The works on display were carefully selected to create a dialogue between geographically distant but convergent visions on sensitive and inescapable themes of contemporaneity.
The Royal Palace of Milan thus confirms itself as one of the most important places for contemporary art in Italy, thanks to the collaboration with the Giuseppe Iannaccone Foundation and Arthemisia.
